drews hands- UPDATE

so his hands are almost 100%. he luckily had a mix of 1st degree and only about 3 spots that were 2nd degree burns. the blisters are starting to shrink away or pop. he wasn't in any pain by the next day and even that night he was using his hands to play games at wyatt's t-ball party. it was a very scary experience and it could have been a whole lot worse. somehow he didn't get a single burn on his stomach or his arms (other than one little line on his forearm) he must have had an angel watching him that day. thanks for all the support and concern, it was greatly appreciated. thanks to my parents for watching the other two kids and letting me crash into their day. big thanks to my friend allison who was willing to help out too. i am so thankful for family and great friends. sadly with drew i know this was not the last of our experiences with injury. he is a pretty daring and fearless kid but also a little clumsy not the best combo.
