last game...

wyatts baseball season didn't end as wonderfully as drews championship win but we had a great season. i believe they ended in 3rd overall but i could be wrong. we were so lucky to have our friend coach and be on a team with 4 of our friends. sadly our coach and friend moved this summer and so this was the end of that era.

baseball season is here again- yippee- today was the "opening day" for our little league and it was quite the show. unfortantly for us, it was FREEZING. oh it was horrible and we were ill prepared for the level of wind and cold that we had while at the "opening day" ceremony. we had to come home and change into warmer clothes for the afternoon games.

drew had his first game and decided to be super silly and get into trouble by walking to first base instead of running like you should- i think his team won but i dont actuall pay attention to the score since he is 4-

wyatt had his first game and they did awesome. something must of clicked for him since last season. last season he hit 3 balls all season but never made it home. today he had a hit at his first upto bat and was able to make it home and score a run for his team. for me it was like seeing a totally different kid playing ball until we got to the part where he was in the outfield being so strange and not paying attention. hopefully we can work on that part but the team did win with a score of 7-2 for the red socks :)

wyatt started t-ball last month with 3 other kids from church. he is loving it so much. its fun for him to have friends on the team that we can carpool and just hang out at games together. here are some pictures from the 1st game.

busy weekends = tired mommy

we had a packed saturday- tball started on saturday and the league always does a parade and carnival to start the season. we were told to get there are 8 but the parade didn't start till 9 and lets be honest it was more like 920 when it did start. olivia usually takes a nap somewhere between 930 and 10 for about 2 hours. the parade ended at 1030 and she was losing it. of course wyatt and drew wanted to play at the carnival. heaven sent for me is my new friends who's kids are on the team, they kept my boys at the carnival so i could go home and give olivia her nap. seriously, these families have been so supportive of our life and are always trying to help me out which is a HUGE blessing. so then we had to be back at the fields at 1:45 for their 2:00 game. the game started late and lasted forever. it was so fun to see them play though. its gonna be a fun season. we have a few kids who have some good assets. wyatt loves to play catcher but i think its more about the gear they wear. he is such a dork. he did score one run which was great. sadly we missed our special friend elle's first birthday party. the day just ran out of time. wyatt was so bummed that we couldn't go take elle her present and every time he sees it he mentions it. i am excited for this baseball season and have some pictures to upload later...

practice makes perfect....

wyatt started soccer last week. he was so excited to get to be on a real team. he is on the titans and their colors are yellow, white and black. we had our first practice on friday and we quickly learned that he needs a LOT of practice. the only thing we don't need to practice is our dance when we score a goal- we need to work on not doing that dance. here were a few quick shots i grabbed while we were there.
