Wig Party anyone??

my BFF Allison turned 30 and had an awesome party... she wanted everyone to wear a wig.. we don't have any  pictures of me and Glenn in our wigs but the kids sure had fun trying them on the next day.

randomness via my phone

here is a random update via my phones pictures.

drew was chosen to be explorer of the week for his grade at their school. basically, they take your picture ask you some questions and your sheet hangs in the front office for a week. it was exciting for him plus we learned he wants to go to Hawaii to explore volcano's.


















olivia loves to be read to at night, on this particular night we had gotten home late from baseball and we all needed to go to bed. when i went to turn her lamp off she was clutching her books with a death grip.. it was cute poor girl.

drew is funny and likes to do silly things. we went to eat one night and this is what he was doing when we were leaving... a little meditation in front of jasons deli

during a random day off we went to lunch with grannie at fuddruckers and the kids all got these stupid gold chains but they thought they were so cool.

its been a long time..

since its been soooo long since i last blogged i am going to do some back blogging from thanksgiving, wyatts baptism and a couple christmas pictures.... then i am going to just move on to present day... that's the plan for now...

here's a quick update

olivia- loves her dance class, going to preschool 3 days a week, her primary class and playing the computer. i have possibly talked her into trying tennis at the Y this coming april, we shall see how she does.

drew- loves reading, writing, basketball, baseball, football and is excited for this season of baseball. he is doing amazing at school, he is a great reader and is one of his teachers best kids. he is doing great in primary and learning  alot this year, his class is full of boys and i feel so bad for the teacher and the 1 girl that just moved into the ward.

wyatt- loves science, math, baseball, swimming and playing mindcraft (the stupidest thing ever). now that he goes to dyslexia class every day he is finally on reading level! its amazing what knowing how to help a kid can do for that kid. he is growing up so fast and its breaking my heart. he moved to senior primary this year and is learning and absorbing everything they teach him. he LOVES scouts and is super excited for the pinewood derby later this month.

oh man- time is just flying by. i feel like i got caught up on the blog and then bam 5 weeks has past. not a ton to report but here's a small update

w- school is good, he likes his teachers surprisingly he is having a more difficult time than anticipated with the new school but is lucky to have his friend abby there with him. baseball is about to start full swing and he moved up a division to machine pitch. his lucky dad is coaching this season which is fun.

d- school is the best place for this kid.. he LOVES it. he had to switch classes but it seems to have been for the best. baseball starts for him too but we are sad to be on  a new team in a new division but happy to be playing.

o- dance started for us 4 weeks ago and we were are happy to be back dancing with miss cindy. school starts for this little lady next tuesday and we are all super happy about that.

the weather cooled down the past two days and it is heavenly.. i love fall and one of the things i miss the most about utah is fall. everything is so magical in fall, the smells, the air and the fall food... ahhh but i am always more grateful to not deal with snow :)

i got a new calling at church about 6 weeks ago and its been filling up my time and thoughts, its something i never thought i would be doing but here's hoping it all turns out ok!  birthdays are about to happen here at casa de stewart so pictures will happen...untill then...

shakes and toast... it just wouldn't be conference weekend without it.

where has time gone?

i can not believe that school is almost over, springs baseball is almost over-  in the past few months lots of things have happened
1. glenn worked alot
b. glenns parents came in to town
iii. we went on a cruise :)
4. drew finished pre-school for the year ;(
e. baseball play-offs started

i have pictures of some of these things and when i locate my camera i will post them. maybe

february recap

here are some of the things that occurred in february

a) i got older and got birthday cake too
b) we celebrated a few other birthdays like grandmas and sister in laws
c) we had valentines parties at school
d) we had western day where wyatt got to square dance and drew got to pretend to be a the rodeo, both got to wear the cowboy hat to school
e) we had a snow day with no snow (silly texas schools)
f) baseball practice began
g) dad was home for a bit of time so we got to get stuff done off the to do list
h) i got to have several girls nights out- and they were super awesome and needed :)

it was a pretty good month, even if i turned older:)

i need to

catch up on this blog of mine- last month i made my blog books from 2007 and 2008 and i LOVE them. it has been so nice to go back and read what we did those years. i am not a scrapbooker but i have mostly blogged about the big stuff we do and some of the little stuff too. i am so happy i stated doing this because now i have those memories written down and the kids can see them too. i was lucky and bought a coupon deal about 4 months ago and was able to make 2 books off that 25.00 it was awesome..
so here's to more blog updates and more pictures so we can remember what happened years from now.

i got nothing

glenn mentioned that i haven't updated in awhile and so here it is. his work schedule has been INSANE so to make him feel more at home i am going to try and blog more. here are some random thoughts
1- wyatt had chapstick in his hand and told me he need some cause his lips were "chatty"
b. drew says things with a little bit of a texas accent and i LOVE it. grass is one work that has a accent to it. its  
     way too cute.
III baseball season is about to start and my life will be a bit busy. if you need me you can find me at the ballpark 3-    4 days a week. i am excited and a bit overwhelmed with the next few weeks but i think its gonna be awesome.
4. a few of my friends have either had or are having babies in the next few months and i am so excited for them.
e- drews preschool starts soon and i am ready, oh so ready
VII i miss my hubby but am not going to complain about him being gone because its not gonna change his schedule plus i want him to work hard and make lots of money..
7- i love living by my mom, its so nice to go and lay in her bed and talk with her about things... it makes me   happy...

flat on my back

i have back problems, they suck and flare up at the worst times. last week my back went out. it was some of the worst pain i have had in years. luckily it happened while glenn was home so he could handle the kids, the unlucky part was it happened on wednesday and glenn left on thursday. i was stressed out about how i was going to do it. thank heavens for great friends and family. my friends came and took drew for the day on thursday and another friend took him on friday and it saved me. i am so thankful for great friends. i do not think i would be walking today if it wasn't for them. thank heavens after 4 days of resting my back it is feeling better and i am finally able to get some cleaning done around this house. 4 days of not mopping the white tile floor is unacceptable. this floor is in dire need of some major scrubbing (can you guess what i have planned tonight after the peep go to bed) its gonna rock.

random ramblings

a. its been rainy for like a week straight- the good news in this is that i don't need to water my lawn- the bad news is its rainy and we can't play outside/swim as much as we need/like to.

2. our buddies are on vk (thanks wh for that word) and we miss them a lot. sometimes its easier to get things done when friends are over, strange that way.

III. my bros have been in town and thats been fun but we have been staying up to late and then being grouchy the next few days.

d. i am currently avoiding cleaning my kitchen and posting this instead, i think its a great plan, for now.

5. i miss glenn and am ready to see him and have his help with the little people

VI. this summer is moving super fast- another good and bad thing. wyatt is getting bored being at home

g. i will now go clean my kitchen instead of vegging on the couch (one good perk about g being gone, i can not clean it and no one but me notices or cares)

what... so i have been lazy

so i have sucked at blogging and its all laziness and little of glenn. whenever he comes home from work i get completely thrown off my schedule. its not his fault at all, it is 100% me. so the point of this post is to say HI.. more later today when the kids are not attacking me.

long overdue

UPDATE- my mom told me i needed to update so here it is mom-

things are finally coming together at home- i feel a little less in transition and a little more settled. there are still a hundred things to get done but for now, i feel better.

the kids are having a great time playing at the park in the awesome weather we have been having. on monday we were at the park for like 3 hours. it was awesome. the kids are loving have friends in the neighborhood to play with. i love that the park is across the street. its not such a hassle to go there. i am hoping that the pool will be the same way this summer.

glenn's work keeps him busy which is good. he is enjoying sunny weather and we miss him but we are happy he has a job.

i am good- just trying to get into a routine that works for all the kids and me. got to get started on my diet but figured spring break week would be crazy at the gym so i am putting it off (slacker i know) anywho...

thats the word from our house... peace out

new and improved...

you might have noticed the new look here- and i am LOVING IT!! it is so fresh and fun and totally worth the wait.... its gonna be a busy month in our family so here's to making it through February...
HAVE A SUPER DAY

a little of this and a little of that...

here is a run down of our last few days-

A) we have been doing a lot of playing these past few days... it could be that the weather has been TOTALLY AWESOME last week. it was great to have my kids play at the park and outside with the neighbor kids... it wore them out and they slept all night.. that part was the best part for me.

B) Olivia turned one and thats crazy for me but she is so fun that its okay.. she is a wiggly worm and that can be challenging.

C) wyatt finished his basketball and we had a party and he got his trophy.. he enjoyed going but was not the most aggressive player out there. he had fun and tried his best and thats all we ask.

D) drew is drew- he is funny and he is hard and he is drew.bear...

so thats whats up with us.... stewart out

our motto

several years ago, about 11 or so my mom came across a saying that she loved and it became the hansen family motto. you may have seen me wear my shirts from time to time. we may not have it all together but together we have it all. i love this b.c it is so true. we have great times when we are all together. the cousins were able to have their first real holiday together and they had a blast playing together.. i have always loved that we do alot of traditions at christmas time and other times throughout the year. its one of the best parts of being in a big family...

shocking at it is... i can't find my camera. it is somewhere in the house and has christmas pictures on it... so until i locate it christmas is just not going to get blogged about yet. it was a fun time. even though it was CRAZY loud and busy.. hopefully i will find the camera and post some pics soon.
